At Honan Insurance Group, we are as passionate about the environment as we are about insurance. Our green initiatives aim to reduce our carbon footprint whilst promoting the importance of sustainability and sustainable development among our teams, clients and community. From recycling all our office waste paper to having sensor lights in our bathrooms we aim to leave behind as few black balloons as possible.
Also as part of Our Green Initiative, we are proud supporters of Landcare Australia’s tree planting day. Since 2009 we have planted 500 trees, which will each absorb 268kg of carbon dioxide over their lifetimes. This means that over the years they will absorb 134 tons of carbon dioxide, prevent soil erosion and provide a natural habitat for our local animals.
