A well-deserved shoutout goes to our partners in the Worldwide Broker Network (WBN).

The WBN’s global conferences are usually attended by all member brokers worldwide and they provide key opportunities for us to connect and collaborate, which in turn allow us to coordinate placements for our multinational clients.

While the pandemic and travel restrictions have made these face-to-face international events impossible, the WBN invested in state-of-the-art virtual platforms to enable brokers to continue with a virtual conference.

The WBN’s efforts to overcome these challenges and make the event possible really inspired us.

5. REFLECTING ON THE YEAR TO DATE, HIT US WITH YOUR TEAM’S TOP 3 HEADLINES.

• Successful placements in the Professional Indemnity Design & Construct space, given the very challenging hard market conditions. Despite the hardening market, our clients still need to continue business operations and they still require insurance. For this reason, it has been rewarding to locate the right coverage when it is required.
• Collaborations with key partner brokers, despite the restrictions on travel during the past year. Platforms such as Zoom have enabled us to enhance our connectivity with our global partner brokers.
• Reaching out to our clients in a more informal way during COVID was a positive way to stay connected and engaged while working from home. Being able to check in and support our clients was rewarding and further strengthened these relationships.

A big part of our effectiveness as a team is built on our relationships with partner brokers locally and internationally. The ongoing travel restrictions due to COVID have really limited our ability to connect face-to-face, so we are looking forward to doing more of this in the year ahead.
